Conference 2008- Partnership Working

This years conference will be held at the Marriott Worsley Park Hotel and Country Club from 9th- 11th September 2008.
Location
The Worsley Park Hotel is around seven miles from Manchester City Centre, 11 miles from Manchester Airport and is easily accessible from the motorway. The hotel is set in over 200 acres of parkland at the historic site of Worsley Old Hall and offers excellent quality accommodation as well as a range of facilities including an 18 hole championship golf course, leisure club and spa and beauty centre.
Facilities
Delegates attending the APHA conference will have free access to the leisure club facilities which include a gym and a swimming pool with hot tub, spa pool and steam rooms. For an extra charge delegates will be able to take advantage of the hotels day spa and beauty treatment room or play a round of golf (after the conference sessions have finished of course!)

Guests
Delegates are welcome to bring a guest along to the conference hotel who will also have access to the hotel facilities as well as the opportunity to explore Manchester. APHA has not arranged a programme for guests this year but there is plenty of opportunities for entertainment both at the hotel and in Manchester City Centre. Social Events
As ever, if you book for the full conference or a 24 hour package you will be able to attend the conference evening functions including the formal President's reception and the APHA Black Tie Dinner as well as the more informal dinner and quiz hosted by Manchester Port Health Authority and no doubt spend some time exploring the bars in and around the hotel.
